The first lesson came from the family

In this world, everyone have a family. Big or small, together or far apart, happy or

unhappy, still leaving or have leave us, everybody have it. Even the stray people in the street

have their own family. Sometimes, family is not just blood bonding , it appear from love and

friendship. An orphan that live in an orphan house, have a big family, as many as the orphan that

live there. Some people want to have family and some people hates their own family. They

never appreciate what they get easily.

But, the point of this article is to talk about our first lesson that came from our family, in

our own house. Before we get into kindergarten, all of us was rise in our own family. We learn to

talk our first word in our house. Usually mama, then papa. We also learn to obey rules and order

from our parent in our house. We learn that I we do something wrong, we must pay for it. We

learn to accept our specialties and weaknesses in our family. We also learn obey the religion in

our own family in our own house. From this, we know that the family brings very huge impact in

our first attitude and first knowledge. But, what happen when the family itself was full of

problem, unhappy, unknowledgeable, or even worse, divorce happen?

When the first step is not really well , the next step and the step after that, will not goes

well also if the problem was not fixed . For example, in mathematics if the first calculation was

wrong, the next calculation and the calculation after that will also give the wrong answer, if we

do not notice or clear our mistakes from the beginning. Now days, when a student of a school

make problems, not obeying the rules, make vandalism and other crime, the school and the

teachers was blame. Yes, they play some rule in the student attitude, but the biggest influence of

their manner and attitude came from their house itself. We must stop blaming each other , and try

to help getting over this problem in our own place and our own family.

In 24 hour, most of our time should be in our house. And just only 6 or 7 hour in the

school. The teachers just only can watch our son in that period, and the rest lies on us, their

parent. So, how is the way that we can always be there with our children? We can not, but Allah

can. How if we let Allah always be in our children heart? Then , the parent must teach their

children the technique to ‘chose and chose not’. Teach them to think the good things, and the bad

effect of doing bad things. Teach them with love and passion, then they will know that the parent

is serious in teaching them. This things is not easy, but it can be done with passion and faith in

Allah. Then, they will know that Allah will always be there with them.

But if we have done all this, the teachers have teach all of their knowledge and the

society has done much to overcome this problem, but it just happen. Pray more to Allah, because

all this can be our test to investigate the real faith of us. Work harder and harder, and all of us

will help to make our society better and better every day. And remember, the first lesson is very

importance, and the lesson came from our own family, in our own house.

Afraid of ‘human-made’ ghost

Afraid of ‘human-made’ ghost

I am not a fan of Malaysian Film, but I knows most of the news about it. And one new

thing that I notice that somehow , out of the blue the ghost film suddenly became the majority of

all the new film. All these in the horror film genre. Only a few of the new released film is not in

this genre. So, is there any problem? Yes. It is. Why?

The starter of this genre film in this 20century start from the famous Pontianak, Harum

Sundal Malam. Then , a few years later, many horror film are released into public such as Jangan

pandang belakang, ngankung,, congkak, damping malam and the newest one is Janin. There a lot

of this film and I cannot describe them all here. But one things for sure, all these will infect our

children mind with a very negative affect. All these superstition just do not help our mind to

think normally and logically. For example, our small child are afraid to go to the bathroom in

their own house in the night just because they ‘think’ that there was a ‘ghost’ in the bathroom.

Not just children, even grown up person can act just like 5-years old kid that afraid of dark and

ghost. All this is not helping the society to grow up mentally and physically.

Do I belief in this ‘paranormal’ , yes. Do I afraid? No. Why? Because , as we relies or not,

this ‘paranormal’ things is all over us, surrounding us, because they are one of our environment .

Even while I write this entry, maybe some ‘ghost’ is watching me. So, why we should be afraid

off? We just afraid of what we saw in the film will came to us, grab our feet in the dark, will suck

our blood and will be behind us in lonely area. That just what the director imagination, what the

scrip writer imagine and all of the ‘terrifying’ ghost is just a ‘human-made’ . Are there real ghost

act in a film? Totally not! So what we see in the film is just a imagination of someone that trying

to make money and that imagination is haunting our mind days and nights. We get the fear, the

producer and director get the money.

The over-limit of this genre type film not just prevent our mind to grow, it also stunt the

growth of our film industry. Generally, every nation or races have their own ‘ghost’ , and all

ghost have the same ‘function’, to scare human. All this type of film have less potential to be sell

abroad to other continent and the world. Not like, fiction and real life-based film, they have a big

potential to be recognize by the world. This genre of film will limit our creativity in making a

good film and good story line. Because, ghost film is just ‘ghost’ that do not have a real stand, in

real world or in our imagination.

So, I want to advise to all of Malaysian community to not supporting these type of film

because it not helping us. Maybe there is a good aspects, but when the bad aspects is the domain,

the good aspects will just become a ‘ghost’ in the story, covered by the bad. Let us free our mind,

gain our knowledge and understand the ‘paranormal’ in a normal way.

In our daily life, many things happen. Some are make us happy, and some make us

unhappy. Some says that our lie is just like a novel or film. To me , that is not true.

Because, all o the novel and the novel are inspired by our life. So, our life is far more interesting,

magnificent, funny ,sad, and whatsoever than all the novel and film in this entire world .

But, nobody can denied that , a novel or movie can change a way of thinking of a human.

Or example, the Harry Potter novel by J.K Rowling has become a worldwide event and being

read by millions of teenager ( sometimes older and younger) in entire world recently. And many

of them are inspired to be a ‘good’ sorceress to fight the ‘bad’ sorceress like Voldemort that use

‘black’ magic. And some also claim that there is ‘white’ and ‘black’ magic. This shown us that,

a novel can change the mind of somebody. All of us know that, all magic is ‘illegal’ in Islam, or

in the simple word, Haram. But, with the ‘help’ of Harry Potter, some o us are blurred with this

topic. Maybe some of you will said I am pessimist or too conservative, Harry Potter is just a novel , just for fun! To the grown up, yes, it is ‘okey’ , but, how about the kid? Do they really

know? Remember, the best learning age is the age of children . What they see now, will effect

their thought in the future , if we do not tell them the reality. Have you ever heard that there was

case o a young boy died after fall down from his balcony just because he thinks he was a

superman ( because he tied a towel to his back just like Superman). That just one example, and

there are many more out there. You can see it for your self.

If every day , they watch many this ‘just for fun’ movie . They will think like them and

act like them for example the superhero that they admired. If the movie have a good moral

value, good language and good attitude, well done. You can give your children o watch it every

day. The act is, there so little ( there is, but not much) of this kind or genre movie and novel. The

producer just thinking about the profit and money they will get from the sale, not knowing that

they are spreading the ‘hedonism’ ( love of un only) to their own society and even their own

children. This condition is very dangerous to our next generation mind setting.

Because of this, the ‘well thinker’ society must produce a good writers and also directors

or producers to help the next generation to ‘fight against’ all of the ‘just for fun’ movie and

novel or the sake of our children generation. The government also must strictly to make sure all

of our Malaysian film ,movie , novels and whatsoever to have a good moral value and batter

than ‘just for fun’ movie. Our society need a change, and to do that, we must change our self.

And with the help of ‘good’ media, we can go further. We are Malaysian, and also Muslim, and

remember, who we are determine what we see. So give us a good things to see.

December 5 2010, Entry 1: Taking advantages from the disadvantage people

After about six long years studying in the secondary school, it is time to me to get into

university.And the way to get to what we wanted is always full of challenge and surprise.

Although I have get the university I wanted to go with my good result, suddenly it all went

wrong. Some human mistakes at the end of the process make all of the plan burn to the ground. It

was a very great hit through my life. But, my life is not totally mine, so I just stand up again and

try to naver give up to the entire problem in my way. I will strive to get rid all of them with my

sprite and my hard work ,and of course with my faith to Allah.

Then , I manage to slip my place in a university in my state in Kedah. The word slip my

place because, all the university in Malaysia has started the first semester, I late because the

unexpected problem that suddenly appear. And, the university life is totally different then my old

lovely school. The condition of studies, the teacher which become lecture, the big aspect of

studies, there is like no senior or junior, the only things exist is ‘which year? Which faculty? And

just like that. All have grown up, I think.

The most importance things that I really relies when I get into university is the huge fees

that a student must pay to get to study. Yes, there is noting free in this world, even when we

want to go to the toilet in public toilet, we must pay. But, the things I my mind is , there are

some people are making profit with the entire university student and sometime also, the lecture.

For example, a student must pay some amount of money to get into study, and I doubted most

of IPTS fees is the real cost of the course. And there is PTPTN, which said to help the student.

What do you understand abut the word ‘help’?

Once you owe somebody, you MUST pay it back. Because that is the owner of the owe

wright. In he current media, they state that may of the graduate student do not pay back the

money that they owe prom PTPTN. For the first thought, the student should be blame, why do

they do not pay the money back? That is not their money. But, if we look close enough, they do

not pay or they do not AFFORD to pay? This is because, they use the interest to make some

profit from the student. That was totally wrong. Why? Simple, if you imagine of some one that

do not have anything, how can you take anything from him? If this continue , I can call all of

this is same like ALONG for the university student.

If someone in a forced condition, they will just take anything to get out from their

problem. It is same with the PTPTN loans, not all of the student came from Datuk’s or Minister‘s

family. Some of them are poor . How can our nation government take profit from student? They

can take profit from all of working people, the rich people, the minister, but not the student. I do

not said that I wanted to have free education (although some great notion manage to do that) , I

just want the government to stop taking profit from the student. How can you take anythings

from somebody that does not have anything at all? The PTPTN system should be recheck again

to make it help the student, not helping the people that wanted profit from student. Do you still

remember the time you are student? Think about it. This is just my opinion
